Introduction

Natural disasters including floods, landslides, earthquakes and other natural phenomena are inevitable during human life. The impact of these disasters result to damage in human properties and loss of life which is also heartbreaking. There is therefore a need to understand how to prepare for disasters that often takes place in a certain locality. This 5-days course will equip participants with knowledge on disaster readiness and survival planning. Specifically, participants will acquire skills on personal and family protection as well as properties during a natural disaster.
