Introduction Biopesticides refers to a pesticide which originates from natural materials such as animals, microorganisms, plants, bacteria, and certain minerals. In comparison with the conventional pesticides, biopesticides are less toxic, affect the target pest, they are effective in small quantities and decompose quickly. Furthermore, no destructive residue is left after a period of application of such a product. This makes biopesticedes the most environment-friendly approach in pest control management. This 5-days course will equip participants with knowledge on how biopesticides are made, advantages of using them, and their mode of action.
Duration 5 Days Training objectives Upon completion of this course participants will be able to: · Learn about biopesticide formulations · Understand Modes of Action for various types of biopesticides · Learn how biopesticides are developed · Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages biopesticides compared to synthetic chemicals Who should attend? · Agrochemicals researchers · Research and Development Managers · Formulation Specialists · Agronomists and Chemists
